6th International Conference on Social Responsibility, Ethics and Sustainable Business
Theme: People and Corporate Social Responsibility in a Globalized World School of Computing, Communication and Business HTW Berlin, Germany 28-29 September 2017 You are invited to attend the 6th International Conference on Social Responsibility, Ethics and Sustainable Business to be held at the School of Computing, Communication and Business, HTW Berlin, Germany on 28-29 September 2017. This is a series of academic conferences that creates networking opportunities for both researchers and practitioners to discuss recent insights on corporate responsible practices in the non-for-profit and for-profit sectors. The conference welcomes scholarly papers and practice contributions on the following topics: CSR and Sustainability, CSR and Business Ethics, Social Media and Grass-Roots Campaigns, CSR and Education, Communicating CSR, CSR Initiatives and Strategies, Corporate Governance, NGO Marketing, CSR in the Digital Age, Reputation and Crisis Management, Ethical Stakeholder Engagement. This conference is an effective platform for growth for early career researchers and practitioners and it fosters a strong professional and academic network worldwide. Conference theme: Contemporary research suggests that CSR has become disconnected from people who make it happen. Individuals in charge of CSR get lost in discourses that talk about competitive advantage, reputation, CSR communication, stakeholder groups or financial performance. This conference invites papers that bring people back into CSR research. In particular, we invite contributions that expand current mainstream understanding of the role individuals have in shaping CSR theory, practice, policies, and discourses. The main topics of the conference, but not limited to these, are: People and morality Global citizenship Citizen’s voice in CSR Diversity and responsibility Migration and responsibility Religion and responsibility Emotions and CSR Applicants should submit an abstract of 300 words in a Word document format via email to georgiana.grigore@csrconferences.org by 15 May 2017. No more than two papers will be accepted from any author. Authors will receive communication of acceptance or decline on 6th June 2017. Only the abstracts of the papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Offers to run workshops, symposia, poster sessions, themed tracks or alternative events are especially welcome. Please contact Maria Anne Schmidt, HTW Berlin (Maria.Anne.Schmidt@HTW-Berlin.de) with suggestions. |
