Submission Categories
The conference solicits original, high-quality submissions in the following categories: Full Papers Full papers should describe original, complete and unpublished work that seeks to advance our current knowledge in any of the topics listed above. Papers must provide sufficient details and support for their claims and conclusions. They must cite relevant published research, highlight novel aspects of the submission, and identify its most significant contributions. The maximum length for a full paper is 18 pages (plus up to 4 pages of references) in the Springer LNICST format. In addition to presenting their paper authors of accepted papers may also present a demo of their work in the interactive poster session. Short Papers Short papers should describe work in progress results for work that seeks to advance our current knowledge in any of the topics listed above. Short papers must provide sufficient details about the nature of the work, cite relevant published research, highlight novel aspects of the inquiry and illustrate the current status of the work and its future direction. The maximum length for a short paper is 8 pages (plus up to 2 pages of references) in the Springer LNICST format. In addition to presenting their paper authors of accepted papers may also present a demo of their work in the interactive poster session. Interactive Posters Interactive posters provide a venue for eliciting useful feedback and fostering discussion on early-stage work that seeks to advance our current knowledge in any of the topics listed above. Interactive posters should outline the nature of the work and its novelty and the plan of action to be pursued by the authors. The maximum length for an Interactive poster is 4 pages (plus up to 1 page of references) in the Springer LNICST format. Accepted submissions may also present a demo of a prototype during the session. Submissions must contain original unpublished work and may not be under consideration for any other conference or journal. All submissions will be subjected to blind review by a panel of experts and will be evaluated on the basis of originality, significance, quality of research, quality of writing, and contribution to conference program diversity. Accepted submissions will be included in the conference proceedings which will be published as part of the Springer Lecture Notes of the Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering Series. If accepted at least one author must attend the conference in order to present the paper. |
