Privacy and security have unique significances in big data. Although many models and perspectives have been around for quite some time, emerging applications in big distributed system that connect society, networks, mobility and personalization, put new requirements on privacy and security. Privacy and security risks widely exist in different stages in big data ecosystem, from data collection, data storage to data analysis, stimulating a wide spectrum of privacy and security issues. The aim of the PSBD2017 in conjunction with ICDCS2017(http://icdcs2017.gatech.edu/ ) is to provide a forum for researchers, practitioners and others interested in this area, to exchange new results and perspectives on privacy and security in big data ecosystem. Topics of Interest include, but are not limited to:
* Secure computing in distributed system * Private and secure storage * Private preserving data analysis * Secure data provenance * Distributed differential private computing * Trustworthy computing * Differential privacy and security * Secure Identity Management * Privacy and security in cloud computing *Applied Cryptography * Privacy-preserving data mining and publishing * Mobile devices privacy and security policies * Privacy and security in crowd sensing system * Privacy and security in sensor and ubiquitous computing systems _________________ All submissions should follow the IEEE 8.5” x 11” Two-Column Format. When using LaTeX, we recommend the following format options: \documentclass [10pt, conference, compsocconf, letterpaper] {IEEEtran}. If the paper is accepted for publication, up to 2 extra pages may be purchased for the camera-ready version. Submitted papers can be of two types: * Regular Research Papers: these papers should report original research results or significant case studies. They should be at most 8 pages. * Position Papers: these papers should report novel research directions or identify challenging problems. They should be at most 4 pages Electronic Submission: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=psbd2017. _________________________ Workshop Chairs Xiaofeng Meng (Renmin University of China, China) Elena Ferrari (University of Insubria, Italy) Bhavani Thuraisingham (The University of Texas at Dallas, USA) _________________________ Program Committee Members Ashwin Machanavajjhala(Duke University, USA) Rui Chen(Samsung Research America, USA) Liping Ding(Institute of Software, CAS, China) George Pallis(University of Cyprus, Cyprus) Gabriel Ghinita(University of Massachusetts at Boston, USA) Javier Parra-Arnau(Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Spain) Jordi Forne(UPC Barcelona, Spain) Xiaolin Gui(Xi`an Jiaotong University, China) Ponnurangam Kumaraguru(IIIT-Delhi, Delhi) Pietro Colombo(University of Insubria, Italy) Noman Mohammed(University of Manitoba, Canada) Maria Luisa Damiani(University of Milano, Italy) Weiwei Ni(Southeast University, China) Kui Ren(State University of New York at Buffalo, USA) Xiaoyang Wang(Fudan University, China) Rui Xue(IIE, Chinese Academy of Science, China) Xiaochun Yang(Northeastern University, China) Xiaojian Zhang(Henan University of Economics and Law, China) |
