Call for Book Chapters
Computational Intelligence in RDF Data Management to be published by Springer-Verlag in the series Studies in Computational Intelligence Introduction RDF (Resource Description Framework) provides a flexible model to represent structured and unstructured data and is quickly becoming the de-facto standard for representation and exchange of information on the Web. Nowadays, the RDF data model is finding increasing use in a wide range of Web data-management scenarios. With the increasing amount of RDF data available, efficient and scalable management of RDF data is of crucial importance. Computational intelligence has been extensively applied in intelligent data processing, which can make the systems more flexible and intelligent. The research and development of computational intelligence in RDF data management are receiving increasing attention. The book will cover a fast-growing topic in great depth and focuses on the technologies and applications of computational intelligence in RDF data management. Recommended Topics Specific topics of interest of this book include, but are not limited to Computational intelligence in • RDF data constructions and learning • RDF data stores • RDF data index • RDF data queries and optimizations • RDF data interoperations and integrations • RDF/RDFS reasoning • Benchmarks for RDF data management • Cloud computing for RDF data management • Domain-specific RDF data management with soft computing • RDF data management systems and applications Submission Guidelines Papers should be original and should not be submitted for publication or published elsewhere. The submissions should be sent electronically to zongminma@nuaa.edu.cn by the end of January 2017. For details on how to prepare the manuscripts and style files refer to the instruction page for authors of the Studies in Fuzziness and Soft Computing series https://www.springer.com/gp/authors-editors/book-authors-editors/manuscript-preparation/5636 This page also includes the latex macro packages and further instructions.
