Call For Papers

Special Track on "Smartphone Applications for Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing"

The focus of this track is on smartphone applications and services, and in particular on novel ideas and applications for ubiquitous and pervasive computing (UPC). This comprises overviews of current and emerging technologies, smartphone platforms and middleware, as well as multi‐technology connectivity via cellular networks or WiFi, security, performance and reliability issues. Moreover, the latest generation of smartphone allows novel applications and services because of their capabilities to monitor environmental data, like location, noise, light, acceleration, images and videos, etc. The aggregation of such data in communities and social networks allows for innovative applications for UPC, but addresses several technical challenges. Therefore, We would like to bring together contributions on key issues of smartphone applications, as well as challenges and future trends for the usage of smartphones for UPC.

PAPER SUBMISSION
