The theme for the 15th International Command and Control Research and Technology Symposium is “The Evolution of C2: Where Have We Been? Where Are We Going?” Since the first ICCRTS in 1995, extensive changes have occurred in the international environment, the nature of the threats to national security, the missions undertaken to protect our security, the technologies available to support our endeavors, and the ways the functions associated with command and control are carried out. This year’s Symposium will encourage development of insights and knowledge about how the field has evolved to deal with these changes and their implications.
Topics for the 15th ICCRTS The 15th ICCRTS will be comprised of the following 9 tracks on various topics: 1. Concepts, Theory, and Policy 2. Networks and Networking 3. Information Sharing and Collaboration Processes & Behaviors 4. Collective Endeavors 5. Experimentation and Analysis 6. Modeling and Simulation 7. C2 Approaches and Organization 8. C2 Assessment Metrics and Tools 9. C2 Architectures and Technologies Key Dates **Please note: all deadlines are final and will be strictly enforced. The Fairmont Miramar has served as a hideaway for movie stars for decades. It is not uncommon to bump into renowned entertainers on a getaway. International dignitaries and entertainers such as Charles Lindberg, former presidents Bill Clinton and John F. Kennedy, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Doris Day, and Cary Grant are just a few well know individuals who have stayed at the Miramar. The hotel was the filming location for Dallas, Starsky & Hutch, Knot’s Landing, and many other films and television shows |
