SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED!!
The School of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University is organising the 2nd Business Doctoral and Emerging Scholars Conference 2017, which will be held in Perth, Australia on 23 and 24 November 2017. The conference provides an opportunity for participating Doctoral Students and Early Career Researchers (ECR) to discuss and share their research ideas and approaches with other Doctoral Students, Researchers and leading Academics within the broad field of business. We have secured an impressive list of international and Australian keynote speakers for the conference, who have extensive experience publishing in high level journals and are leading experts in their research fields. Besides the keynote speeches, participants of this conference can also attend two statistical workshops featuring the two widely used software programs in business analytics and research - R and SPSS, and a session on method bias in behavioural research. A celebratory cocktail networking session will follow the formal proceedings where the winners of the Best Paper Awards will be announced, with attractive prizes. The conference is accepting submissions from doctoral students in different stages of their dissertation process, and ECR who completed their study in the last five years. We welcome submissions from any field of Business. Selected papers will be considered for special issues of Malaysian Accounting Review and Asia-Pacific Management Accounting Journal. Submissions The conference invites a short paper of maximum 5 pages, excluding reference. Students and ECR wishing to present their research at the conference are asked to send the manuscript to SBLSubmissions@ecu.edu.au before 29th September 2017, with “Paper Submission to 2nd Business Conference” in the subject line. Peer Reviewed Process and Proceedings All submissions will be peer-reviewed and selected based on quality, relevance, and research phase.
