2022 is the 50th Foundation Day of IEEE's Commitment on Social Implications of Technology. Please join us at the iSTAS2022 conference to celebrate this occasion. IEEE International Symposium on Technology and Society 2022 is the flagship conference of the IEEE’s Society on Social Implications of Technology (SSIT). ISTAS is a multi/inter/trans‐disciplinary forum for government, academia, industry, engineers, policy makers, entrepreneurs, philosophers, researchers, social scientists, technologists, and related technical fields to collaborate, exchange experiences, and discuss the social implications of technology. ISTAS 2022 Participants Include: Policy Makers Business Industry(particularly in the Asia Pacific Region) NGOs Engineers Researchers Scientists Academicians Technocrats Students CO-LOCATED Securitization for Sustainability of People and Place: A Call to Transdisciplinarity The Fifteenth Workshop on the Social Implications of National Security (SINS22) Human Factors Series Friday, 11 November 2022 Submission Guidelines All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. We invite the following types of submissions: Full papers for peer-review and publication in IEEE Xplore (2500-3500 words) Proposals for workshops, panels, roundtable discussions, or other innovative sessions related to the conference theme (please explain relevance to theme; 250-500 words) Authors preparing full papers should consult IEEE conference templates for guidelines on composing and formatting conference papers.
