Ground System Architectures Workshop 2017
Call for Participation Tutorials: March 13, 2017 Workshop: March 14-16, 2017 Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel THEME: Looking Beyond the Horizon The 21st annual Ground System Architectures Workshop (GSAW) provides a forum for the world’s space-related ground system experts to collaborate with other ground system users, developers, and researchers through tutorials, presentations, working groups, panel discussions, and a poster session. It is natural to think about the future in a way that incorporates current technology, requirements, development approaches, and business practices. Unfortunately, this can result in an expensive, overly complex merging of legacy systems with solutions that incorporate little innovation. Significant advancements in technology and approaches are happening today and more are sure to come. This year’s theme is “Looking Beyond the Horizon,” which encourages you to start with a clean sheet, consider these advancements, look several years ahead, and present game-changing approaches to ground systems. Come share your new ideas, emerging technologies, lessons learned, and roadmaps to innovating away from the short-term incremental changes of the past. The community would benefit greatly by hearing about your needs, accomplishments, progress, and plans as we move to advanced architectures and innovative capabilities for the future. For complete GSAW information and Call for Participation details visit: http://gsaw.org/. Deadlines • Abstracts/proposals: Oct. 24, 2016 • Notification of acceptance: Nov. 28, 2016 • Accepted presentations: Feb. 6, 2017 Presenters are responsible for ensuring that all submissions are cleared for presentation to their respective audiences. This workshop will be conducted in English. |
