CALL FOR PAPERS 4th International Workshop on Semantic Web and Linked Open Data (ISW-LOD 2016) San Jose, Costa Rica. November 22nd, 2016 Co-located with *** IBERAMIA 2016 *** (http://www.iberamia.org/iberamia/iberamia2016/) http://ciep.ing.uaslp.mx/sw-lod/ *** CONTACT AND GENERAL INQUIRIES *** EMAIL: swld@xanum.uam.mx =========================================================================================== 4th ISW-LOD is a forum for the semantic web and linked open data communities, where practitioners in industry, academia and others interested in these topics are welcome for describing real and potential applications, share experience and discuss the latest scientific results and technology innovations around semantic technologies and linked open data. The goal of 4th ISW-LOD as previous events is not only to create an interlinked web of knowledge on these topics in Mexico, but also to network with international and consolidated communities. This aim requires the collaboration of many disciplines (topics below) and the workshop try to be a forum to encourage participants to work together or establish some kind of collaboration. In this version (one day), the workshop will feature a plenary discussion on emerging trends in semantic web and linked open data between participants in order to create an interlinked Iberoamerican community about this topics. We encourage both the participation of national and international communities, specially industry, academia, Master and Doctoral students to participate in this workshop. The workshop welcomes contributions in current trends in semantic web and linked open data, including, but not limited to: ** Knowledge Representation ** Languages, tools, and methodologies for ontology engineering ** Natural Language Processing applied for the Semantic Web ** Advances in Artificial Intelligence Methods and Techniques for the Semantic Web ** Search, query, integration, and analysis on the Semantic Web ** Semantic integration of data, multimedia and services ** Semantic Web Services ** Semantic Web Development Tool ** Ontology-based Applications ** Cloud computing and the Semantic Web ** Semantic Web and Linked Data for Cloud environments ** Management of Semantic Web data and Linked Data ** Interacting with Semantic Web data and Linked Data ** Information visualization of Semantic Web data and Linked Data ** Semantic Web technologies for eGovernment, eEnvironment, eMobility, eEducation or eHealth ** Internet of Things and Semantic Web Technologies ** Augmented reality and Semantic Web Technologies Papers will be peer reviewed ("double-blind review policy") by a program committee, and must be written in English or Spanish. Contributions should be original and unpublished work. The workshop welcomes: * Short Papers: describe ongoing work, preliminary results. Maximum 6 pages. * Position Papers: describe works with complete results. Maximum 10 pages. All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of 4th ISW-LOD Workshop in CEUR Workshop Proceedings (CEUR-WS.org) that is a publication service of Sun SITE Central Europe operated under the umbrella of RWTH Aachen University with the support of Tilburg University. CEUR-WS.org is recognized as a publication series by Deutsche Bibliothek, ISSN 1613-0073. Selected papers which fulfill the requirements of Research in Computing Science Journal (http://www.rcs.cic.ipn.mx/) will be published. By submitting a paper, the authors commit to present the paper at the workshop by at least one of them if the paper is accepted. Each accepted paper requires an individual registration at regular rate. Without a valid registration, the paper will not appear in the Proceedings. Papers must follow the Springer format.
