IEEE R10 Humanitarian Technology Conference (HTC) 2016 is a premier international technical conference of IEEE Region 10, which comprises 57 Sections, 6 Councils, 21 Subsections, 514 Chapters and 1159 Student Branches in the Asia Pacific region. It is devoted to emerging technologies, new trends and advances in Humanitarian Technologies.

After the success of the previous three Humanitarian Technology Conferences held in Sendai, Japan (2013), Chennai, India (2014) and Cebu, Philippines (2015) it is now going to be held in Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, the city of inimitable Taj Mahal, India on 21 – 23 December 2016.

The focus of the conference has always been on the learning and sharing of the use of technology for humanitarian activities. This year the focus is on Sigma 6Q & Smart Villages: making sustainability a way of life. The scope of conference papers include but not limited to the following areas: Energy, Environment Systems, Education Systems, Healthcare, Agriculture & Dairy, Smart Village and Women Security. Distinguished speakers will be invited to deliver keynote speeches on technology trends and significant advances in relevant topics.

The HTC 2016 will also feature an exhibition, a special competitive track for students called Students' Innovation Pavilion and a free guided excursion trip to the Taj Mahal.
