Introduction

To pave the road for emerging Applications, Future Internet (FI) benefits from a wide set of novel assets including Internet of Things (IoT), the Cloud, and the widespread availability of Mobile devices connected through the Internet. From the other side, recent Networking and Communication bodies are introducing new Architectures based on novel concepts such as Information Centric Networking (ICN) and Software Defined Networking (SDN). This special issue calls for high quality research papers on Networking paradigms of FI Architectures and the researches that are related to novel Applications on FI.

Submission guideline

Manuscripts must not have been previously published or be submitted for publication elsewhere. Each submitted manuscript must include title, authors’ names, affiliations, postal and email addresses, a list of keywords, and an extended paper. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically at http://www.jcomsec.org and indicate “Special issue on Future Internet: Architectures and Applications” in the submission form and the cover page. All papers will be peer reviewed, and acceptance will be based on quality, relevance and originality.
