32nd UKPEW
UKPEW is the leading UK forum for the presentation of all aspects of performance modelling and analysis of computer and telecommunication systems. It is an annual event that aims to gather researchers working on all aspects of performance modelling and analysis. Original papers are invited on all relevant topics but papers on or related to the subjects listed below are particularly welcome. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Performance-oriented design and analysis methods Formal modelling paradigms: stochastic process algebra, stochastic Petri nets, stochastic automata networks, Markov chains, queueing theory,... Solution and simplification techniques for stochastic processes Model checking and validation Approximate results for Markov and semi-Markov Processes Simulation techniques and experimental design Benchmarks and benchmark evaluation Performance tools Performance case studies and industrial reports Software performance engineering Performance and power consumption tradeoffs Performance overhead of secure systems New frontiers of performance evaluation/modelling Performance analysis of communication networks, mobile and wireless networks, software systems, distributed systems, system architectures, embedded systems, web-based systems, grid computing, cloud computing,... CYBERSECW - 2016 This is the first cyber security workshop to be held at the University of Bradford. Cyber security continues to be a challenging area that requires a sustained commitment in terms of research, development and investment to ensure better solutions are developed. We invite submissions on case studies, experimentation, evaluation, measurement, analysis, survey, metric, simulation, testbeds and proofs in the following but not limited to these subjects: Emerging cyber threats National and International cyber security threats Multidisciplinary solutions to cyber threats Social engineering Penetration testing and ethical hacking Cloud security Incident response management Malware analysis and detection solutions Intrusion detection and prevention systems Computer forensics solutions Security in the Internet of Things The human factor in cyber security Cyber Threat Intelligence Network and endpoint prevention and detection systems Cryptography in cyber security For any queries, please write to: UKPEW2016@bradford.ac.uk |
