The Fourth IEEE/CIC ICCC International Workshop on Wireless Communications for Internet of Things Networking (WIN 2016)
July 27-29, 2016, Chengdu, China =================================================================== The first, second, and third IEEE/CIC ICCC International Workshops on Internet of Things (IOT) were held successfully on August 12, 2013 in Xi an, October 13, 2014 in Shanghai, and November 2, 2015 in Shenzhen, respectively. And two reports about these workshops appeared in IEEE Communications Society Global Communications Newsletter (GCN) within IEEE Communications Magazine (http://www.comsoc.org/files/Publications/Magazines/gcn/pdf/gcn1213.pdf and http://www.comsoc.org/files/Publications/Magazines/gcn/pdf/GCN_2015_04.pdf). Based on the success of first three workshops, the workshop, rebranded WIN 2016, aims to provide a forum for authors to present early research results on enabling wireless communication and networking technologies for Internet of Things (IoT). Topics of interest include (but not limited to) the following: * Design of communication protocols for IoT * Network coding and its applications for IoT * Wireless communication technology for IoT * Interconnection between IP and IoT networks * Cross layer optimization techniques in M2M communication * Infrastructure of information network for IoT * IoT access network technologies and capillary networks * Testbeds, experimental measurements, performance evaluation and optimization in communication and networking in IoT * Cyber-physical security, data privacy, and trust in IoT * Quality of experience and quality of service for IoT * Communication and networking protocols among enabling technologies in IoT * MAC/Network layer cooperative communications for IoT The workshop accepts only novel, previously unpublished papers. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit a 5-page standard IEEE conference style paper to this workshop (including all text, figures, and references) through EDAS submission system. One additional page may be allowed but with additional publication fee. Accepted papers must be presented at the workshop. The presenter must register for the workshop before the deadline for author registration. Failure to register before the deadline will result in automatic withdrawal of the paper from the workshop proceedings and the program. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE ICCC 2016 Conference Proceedings and in IEEE Xplore?, and indexed by Engineering Index (EI). In addition, the accepted papers could be recommended to IEEE Internet of Things Journal (http://iot.ieee.org/journal), KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems (http://itiis.org/), IEEE Transaction on Industrial Informatics (http://tii.ieee-ies.org/ss16/SS_Proposal_TII_Lv_Song_Jo-2.pdf) and Sensors (http://www.mdpi.com/journal/sensors/special_issues/cyber_physical_systems).
