Call for papers
Papers are invited on all topics in the broader theme of Data and Text Analytics. Prospective participants of the workshop are invited to contribute papers reporting their completed/ on-going research work. All accepted papers will appear in the special session on Data and Text Analytics in the International Conference on Cognitive Computing and Information Processing, CCIP-2015 (3-4 March, 2015). The main focus of the special session is on advances in processing structured data and unstructured texts, as approached from different routes (Linguistics, Machine Learning and Data Mining). An indicative (non-exhaustive) list of topics is given below: Analytic environments, Bayesian inference, Classification, Clustering, Collaborative filtering, Computational advertising, Content analysis, Content-based filtering, Contextual awareness, Conversational system, Coreference resolution, Disambiguation, Document representation, Evaluation (e.g., test collections, effectiveness measures, experimental design), Graph representation of texts, Graphical models, Information extraction, Kernel methods, Learning systems Linguistic analysis, Named entity recognition, Opinion mining, Part of speech tagging, Personalised, collaborative or user-adaptive IR, Probabilistic computing, Quantitative text analysis, Recommender systems, Relation extraction, Scalability issues, Sentiment analysis, Social media analytics, Statistical and relational learning, Statistical methods, Summarization, Supervised learning, Syntactic parsing, Topic detection and tracking, Topic models, Unsupervised learning, and Web analytics.
