After successfully finishing the 16th Drive Train Technology Conference (ATK) 2015, we
would like to invite you to contribute to the ATK 2017. The conference has been held
every two years since 1987 and will next take place at the Eurogress Aachen on the
7th and 8th of March 2017.
At the ATK, the latest developments and innovations at system and component level
relevant for drive technology will be presented to a competent audience. In this context, metrological tests as well as calculations and simulations will be shown. The ATK provides an interdisciplinary platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences
between researchers, developers and users in the field of drive technology and also
promotes networking between industry and university. As part of a visit of the Institute
for Machine Elements and Machine Design, you can get to know the latest research
activities and developments of the institute from different application areas.

Drive train technology in construction and agricultural machines, rail vehicles, industrial drives as well as mobile handling and Transportation systems
- Energy and cost efficiency
- Functionality
- Dynamics and acoustics
- Digitalization

For each presentation a speaking time of 20 minutes followed by 10 minutes of
discussion is scheduled. Presentations are welcome in German or English, however, a
translation will not be offered.

The fee includes conference documents, snacks during breaks, lunch as well as the
participation in the ATK dinner.
A printed conference transcript can be ordered in advance at a reduced rate of 60 €* or
after the conference at a rate of 120 €*. In case of cancellation until two weeks before
the conference, a fee of 200 €* is charged. For later cancellations or non-attendance,
the full participation fee is charged. The participation in the conference is free for all speakers.

Exhibition of related Topics:
The exhibition will take place in the spacious and modern foyer of the main hall. Coffee
breaks and lunch will also take place there, guaranteeing high attention to the Exhibition throughout the conference. The exhibition fee is 500 €. We are looking forward to welcoming you as an exhibitor.

Discounted participation in the Conference for Wind Power Drives (CWD) 2017:
The Conference for Wind Power Drives is held simultaneously to the ATK. Participation
in both, the CWD and ATK, is possible at a reduced rate. For further information on the
