** About ISOCC
ISOCC has established a long tradition as an annual conference providing the world's premier SoC design forum for leading researchers from academia and industries. ISOCC 2018 welcomes articles in the field of semiconductor circuits and systems dealing with new advanced concept and developments in technology of analog/digital circuits or systems, theory, simulation, modeling, advanced experimental results and experience of SoC with SW, and an emerging technology for the future. ISOCC 2018 will be held from Nov. 12th to Nov. 15th, 2018 at the Hotel Interburgo Daegu, Daegu, Korea. The city of Daegu is surrounded by UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Gyeongju Seokkuram and Bulguksa, Gyeongju Historical Areas, Haeinsa Temple Tripitaka Koreana, and the historic villages of Hahoe and Andong). We are truly glad to host such a prestigious event in the central hub of world heritage sites of Korea. ** Conference Theme ISOCC 2018 is held with a theme of "Intelligent SoC driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution". Recent IoT for the Fourth Industrial Revolution trend heavily depends on small things with various sensing capabilities, a certain level of intelligence, seamless wireless connectivity, ultra-low power consumption and sometimes batteryless operation. Such small intelligent things for the Fourth Industrial Revolution cannot be realized without a semiconductor system on a chip or SoC. Intelligent SoC senses and aggregates wanted information from outside, processes them to a desired way, and create values for humans. It can be applied to human wellness, robot industry, bio/medical health, and automotive, automated factory, and so much more.In this conference, we try to open a forum to discuss on key issues driving the Fourth Industrail Revolution and hurdles to realize the intelligent SoCs and see what the future SoC will look like.
