Call for Mini Track Proposals 

 
The 12th International Conference on Innovations in Information Technology (IIT’16) invites submission of mini track proposals for the following research tracks:

Track 1: Communication Networks and Information Security
Track 2: Data Science and Information Systems
Track 3: Software and Embedded Systems

 
At IIT’16, mini tracks will be organized in sections. Each section consists of 3 or 4 papers, with each paper briefly summarized by the authors, leaving adequate time for good discussion and questions. Each mini track can have up to 3 co-chairs. One of them will serve as a primary contact. Together, mini track co-chairs will be responsible for:
* Soliciting Manuscripts for the mini track
* Acquiring reviewers to the submissions received by your mini track (each paper should be reviewed by at least 3 qualified people)
* Overseeing the review process 
* Consolidating reviews and submitting decision for each submission 
* Providing one-page mini track introduction for the conference proceedings
* Selecting best paper nomination
* Attending the pre-paper session meetings with your Track Co-Chair(s) and authors in your mini track on the first day of the conference
* Managing paper presentations during the conference
 
Instructions for Mini Track Proposal Submission:
We invite you to submit your proposal for mini tracks by email to: iit16@uaeu.ac.ae by the specified deadline. Your submission should include the following:
* Title of a mini track.
* Research track that this mini track aligns with. This is one of the above three main conference tracks.
* Description of a mini track including a list of topics (If your proposal is accepted, this mini track description will be posted on the conference website and used as a Call for Papers for your mini track.)
* Name, affiliation, and contact information of mini track chair (primary contact) and a co-chair
* Short bio-sketch of mini track chair and co-chair
* A statement that your organization endorses your involvement and will pay for your travel expenses to attend IIT’16. A free paper registration will be provided to one of the co-chairs for every 6 accepted papers as part of their mini tracks.
