The goal of this workshop is twofold. First, it aims at presenting and reporting on the most recent methods for the management, processing, interpretation, and visualization of multimedia data recorded for monitoring ecological systems, with particular attention to the understanding of the behavior of animals and insects. Second, it aims at bringing together practitioners and researchers, both in multimedia and in ecology, to share ideas and experiences in designing and implementing novel multimedia analysis techniques and tools for ecological multimedia content.
