Quality of Information and Communications Technology Coimbra, Portugal, 4 to 7 September 2018 http://2018.quatic.org QUATIC has been a forum for disseminating advanced methods, techniques and tools for supporting quality approaches to ICT engineering and management. Practitioners and researchers are encouraged to exchange ideas and approaches on how to adopt a quality culture in ICT process and product improvement, to provide evidence of best practices and report practical studies in varying contexts related to ICT Quality. QUATIC proceedings are published by IEEE CPS and we expect that, as in previous editions, they will be indexed by IEEEXplore, Scopus (Elsevier), ISI WoS (Thomson-Reuters), ACM Digital Library, and DBLP. ---------------------------------------------------------------- PROGRAM PREVIEW ---------------------------------------------------------------- THEMATIC TRACKS: The first part of the technical program will be organized on a series of Thematic Tracks, each corresponding to a specialized topic, whose program is selected by a program committee of experts on that topic, thus ensuring a focused review exercise that will provide an optimized feedback to authors and will guarantee the quality of the final program. These tracks will run in parallel in a workshop-like fashion and are the following: - Quality Aspects in Requirements Engineering - Quality Aspects in Model Driven Engineering - Quality Aspects in DevOps Development - Quality Aspects in Process Improvement and Assessment - Quality Aspects in Verification and Validation - Quality Aspects in Software Engineering using Evidence-Based Approaches - Quality Aspects in Big Data Systems - Quality Aspects in Safety and Security - Quality Aspects in Cloud-based Platforms and Services - Quality Aspects in Industry 4.0 - Quality Aspects in Business Processes ------------------ MAIN TRACK: This track will occur after all technical tracks are over and will include keynote speeches and the presentation of the best papers from each track, so that all QUATIC participants can enjoy them. ------------------ PARALLEL EVENTS: - SEDES This parallel event will bring together Software Engineering PhD students to present and discuss their work with a panel of professors and experts on the field. - Business Day This event aims at fostering the dissemination of best practices and to allow a lively discussion of hot topics and quality concerns in specific application domains.
