..The invitation to attend the meeting is addressed to people who work with Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, and in particular to biologists, chemists, engineers, physicians, physicists and technicians. The aim of the meeting is to aggregate people with different background who work in the field of technical, biological and clinical research.
.....The aim of the meeting is to review recent developments in Magnetic Resonance in Medicine. This includes the use of high field magnets in biology and in the clinics, the use of advanced MR techniques, such as spectroscopy, perfusion, diffusion and functional imaging, and the most recent technological developments that could radically change “the way of doing MRI” in the next decade.
.....The meeting is organized by the Italian Chapter of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM), an association born under the sponsorship of the international society. The Chapter’s aim is to foster scientific collaboration of researchers and clinicians, to promote educational programs and to make Italian contributions in the field more visible internationally.
.....We hope that this meeting will give the opportunity to research groups who work in Italy in Magnetic Resonance in Medicine the possibility to meet and exchange opinions in a multi-disciplinary environment, as well as to clinicians to learn more about the new developments. This collaboration between scientists and clinicians should foster the use of new MR methods in clinical practice in the main interest of our patients.
.....It is our hope that the activities of the Italian Chapter would create a stimulating environment for students and young researchers, who have not yet had the opportunity to attend and appreciate the educational value of the international meetings organized by the ISMRM e ESMRMB.

- Maximum length: 2300 characters (excluding titles)
- Pictures are not admitted

Abstracts that do not conform the required format, as well as abstracts sent by email or fax, will not be considered.

The submitted abstracts will be evaluated by a scientific committee for presentation as oral presentation or as posters.
The result of the evaluation will be communicated to authors before the 26st of January, 2010.


POSTER SESSION.
Accepted posters will be on display in the poster exhibition hall. During the congress, poster will be evaluated by a selection board for the assignment of a price to the five best posters. Posters have to remain on display for the two days of the meeting. The maximum poster dimension allowed is: 60x100 cm.


ECM CREDITS.
Credits have been requested for professional category of Physicians, Physicists, Biologists, Chemists, and radiology technicians. In order to obtain credits, participants must attend the 100% of the meeting and pass the multiple choice test at the end of the meeting.
