Call For Papers

The NJ Technology Council's Electronics, Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Industry Network is seeking papers from undergraduate and graduate students focusing on Asia’s growing role in electronics manufacturing and the implications these developments holds for both the US and Asia. Authors of papers in each of the eight categories (Product Development, Advanced Materials, Manufacturing, Software, Photonics, Raw Materials, Sustainable Green Manufacturing and Intellectual Property) will present their work at a meeting of the Tech Council on the afternoon of February 23 in Iselin, NJ. Executives representing electronics and other technology firms will be in attendance at this event.

SUBMISSION DETAILS

Presentation of papers may be accompanied by a Power Point presentation no longer than 7 minutes in length. We encourage authors to submit concise papers of not more than 4 pages. Over-length submissions may be rejected without review or notice to the author. Final copies of accepted papers will be required in either word, PDF or HTML formats. Authors must also include a short 30-word statement at the top of their paper with their submission that summarizes the content of their paper. The paper will be reviewed by our Selection Committee, including representatives from Arrow Electronics, Matheson TriGas, Montclair State University, NJIT, Princetel, and others.

Papers will be accepted from students enrolled in colleges or universities in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York or Connecticut. We do request a copy of student IDs or a letter from faculty advisor indicating that the student is currently enrolled.

Accepted papers and presentations will be showcased at njtc.org for six months. Authors are not required to transfer copyright. Authors of accepted papers must sign and return a Permission and Release form.
