This is a first call for papers for the 6th International Conference on Gender Research (ICGR 2023), being hosted by Ulster University, NI, UK on 20th–21st April 2023..

This call will close on 28th September 2022.

In today’s changing society researchers across many disciplines have started to focus on the impacts and issues relating to gender. ICGR 2023 provides an opportunity for anyone researching gender issues across the full spectrum of social sciences to come together to publish and present their work. As with the conference this year we are keeping the scope of ICGR 2023 broad to include issues relating to gender research from many areas of study including, business, education, literature, media and politics with participants from around the world sharing research which expresses both common experiences as well as those which are unique to each circumstance.

This conference will create an opportunity for academics, practitioners and consultants researching gender in various social science domains to share their work. Academic research, case studies and work-in-progress/posters are welcomed approaches. PhD and Masters Research, proposals for roundtable discussions, non-academic contributions and product demonstrations based on the main themes are also invited.

Papers accepted for the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration and payment. The Proceedings have an ISSN, ISBN and will be submitted for indexing in the ISI Web of Science Conference Proceedings Citation Index and Scopus and they are listed in the EBSCO database. Authors may also be invited to submit papers to relevant journals.
