Conference Objective
The global economy has experienced a paradigm shift from technology-based to knowledge-based. Amid this transition, the service sector has had an annual growth rate of 30% in many developing markets. The remarkable growth of the service economy is driven not only by traditional service businesses but also by innovative and service-oriented models and value propositions. Such development highlights the needs of quality and innovative services for companies to succeed and prosper in the market. Increasing importance of being service-oriented has also posited a wide range of research agenda in different disciplines. In light of this emerging trend, the 2016 International Conference on Service Science and Innovation (ICSSI), held in Taipei, Taiwan on June 22-24, 2016, aims to bring together many scholars, researchers and managers of various areas and industries for intellectual exchanges, research cooperation and professional development. The conference is developed and hosted by the Department of Business Administration, National Taiwan University, with the sponsorship of Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan’s Service Science Society, Sayling Wen Cultural and Educational Foundation. The service oriented economy is evolving into experience economy and becoming a new model in shaping the research direction on the areas of new product development, information system design, partner relationship improvement and customer loyalty establishment. Given the recent trend, the research topics regarding how to design Paper Submission High quality research papers and case studies in the form of abstract or full paper are invited to be submitted electronically through the conference’s website: http://icssi2016.ba.ntu.edu.tw/. Thesubmitter shall find useful information regarding the submission guidelines, procedures and required templates on the website. All submissions ought to be original work. Authors of the accepted research papers or case study reports should return a camera-ready final version prior to a designated deadline. In the meanwhile, at least one author must register and attend the event to present their paper or report. ICSSI 2016 welcomes submissions in the form of abstracts, papers, posters, and ideas for special sessions. The deadline for submissions is: March 1, 2016. All submissions will be reviewed via a double-blind process. Authors will be informed by email before April 1, 2016.
