The Second IEEE International Conference on Connected Health: Applications, Systems and Engineering Technologies: CHASE-SEARCH 2017 (Safe, Energy-Aware, & Reliable Connected Health) https://sites.google.com/site/searchw2017/ In association with The First IEEE Conference on Connected Health: Applications, Systems and Engineering Technologies (CHASE 2017) Philadelphia, July 17-19, 2017 http://conferences.computer.org/chase2017/ is inviting you to submit your research work to this workshop and also to forward to the appropriate groups this invitation. ------------------------------------- Purpose and scope ------------------------------------- This workshop, organized in conjunction with CHASE 2017, provides an international forum for research community working on energy efficient, green, safe, and reliable connected health research areas. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: • Energy efficient protocols for connected health. • Energy efficient medical sensors. • Energy optimization in connected health. • Energy efficient resource allocation in connected health. • Safety issues in connected health. • Fault Tolerance in connected health. • Reliability of connected health technologies: m-Health, WBSN. • Safety and security concerns in connected medical devices. • Testing and validation of connected health technologies and architectures. • Simulation based methods in connected health. • Formal methods in connected health. • Surveys and state of the art reports in the area. • Other related topics ------------------------------------- Submission ------------------------------------- Perspective authors are invited to submit their papers using EDAS System (https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=23213). A full paper should not have more than six (6) IEEE style pages including results, figures and references. One (1) additional page is allowed with a charge of USD100, if accepted. Papers exceeding 7 pages will not be accepted at EDAS, nor will they be reviewed at all. Papers will be reviewed with the standard reviewing procedure (with at least 3 independent anonymous reviews). Accepted papers will be published on IEEE Explore (http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/). Note: To be published in the IEEE Workshop Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE /Xplore®/, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the workshop and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the workshop unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event and who is qualified both to present and answer questions. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.Papers will be published in the IEEE CHASE 2017 Proceedings and submitted to IEEE /Xplore®/.
