The past several years have witnessed an increasing appreciation of the complexity in cancer, as well as a significant development in understanding the underpinnings of intricate metabolic regulation. As a result, a surge of interest in the intersection of cancer and metabolism has motivated scientists in both fields.

This free, one-day LabLinks symposium will bring together local researchers to discuss a broad range of topics related to this, including mitochondria and metastasis, nutrient sensing in cancer cells, and regulation of metabolic program, as well as how to translate these biological insights into clinical impact that would benefit patients.
