Call for Participation
Welcome to participate in WCSSC 2017, Guangzhou, China, December 12-15, 2017! Guangzhou, a city in spring forever, is the capital city of Guangdong Province. Guangzhou is also the third largest city in China, located in the north of the Pearl River Delta, close to Hong Kong and Macau. With evergreen plants and flowers blooming all year round, the city has an alias of "City of Flowers". Guangzhou is one of the first batch of 24 historical and cultural cities released by the State Council, with more than 2200 years of history and profound cultural heritage, and also a major terminus of the maritime Silk Road. Guangzhou is one of the most famous tourist resorts in China, with a lot of tourist sites, such as Baiyun Mountain, Guangzhou Tower, and Yuexiu Park.

The 2nd International Workshop on Cloud Storage Service and Computing (WCSSC 2017), in conjunction with "The 10th International Conference on Security, Privacy and Anonymity in Computation, Communication and Storage (SpaCCS 2017)", aims to bring together researchers who work on cloud storage service and computing related technologies. This workshop has emphasis on establishing a state-of-the-art for dependable, reliable and high performance could storage systems, identifying challenges and discussing solutions for successfully enabling security and reliability for large scale cloud storage system.

Introduction
The cloud storage is a natural evolution of distributed storage and computing and of the widespread adaption of virtualization and Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA). In cloud storage system, IT-related capabilities and resources are provided as services, via the Internet and on-demand, accessible without requiring detailed knowledge of the underlying technology. The 2nd International Workshop on Cloud Storage Service and Computing (WCSSC 2017), in conjunction with "The 10th International Conference on Security, Privacy and Anonymity in Computation, Communication and Storage (SpaCCS 2017)", aims to bring together researchers who work on cloud storage service and computing related technologies. This workshop has emphasis on establishing a state-of-the-art for dependable, reliable and high performance could storage systems, identifying challenges and discussing solutions for successfully enabling security and reliability for large scale cloud storage system.
