CALL FOR PAPERS
The students of the Institute of Philosophical Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (IIFs-UNAM) invite graduate students to submit to:


The 2nd IIFs-UNAM Philosophy Graduate Conference

To be held on March 9th-10th 2016, Mexico City

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:

We will consider submissions of high quality in the following areas of analytic philosophy:

Aesthetics
Epistemology
Ethics
General Philosophy of Science
History of Philosophy
Metaethics
Metaphysics
Philosophy of Biology
Philosophy of Language
Philosophy of Law
Philosophy of Logic
Philosophy of Mathematics
Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Sciences
Philosophy of Physics
Political Philosophy


Papers should not exceed 5000 words in length (excluding abstract and references), should be prepared for blind review, and should be written and presented in English.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Submitted papers must be received no later than August 31st 2015.
(Accepted papers will be announced seven weeks after the deadline.)
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
All submissions must be prepared for blind review. Please send the following as separate attachments in .doc or .pdf format to unam.gconf@filosoficas.unam.mx:
I) A cover letter containing the following information:
- Author’s name
- Title of paper
- The topic area(s) of the paper (e.g. metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, etc.)
- Institutional affiliation
- Contact information (e-mail, phone number, mailing address)
- Word count
II) The paper itself, with a title page containing the title of the paper and an abstract of no more than 300 words. IMPORTANT: This file should be free of identifying information.
UNAM will cover accommodation expenses for accepted speakers.
