On behalf of the Organising Committee, it is with great pleasure to invite you to the 41th international scientific conference – SDOT 2015 (Federated Conference on Software Development and Object Technologies) conference emerged in 2013 as a joint event of former Software Development and Objects conferences. This year the conference will take place at Žilina, the Slovak Republic from 19. to 20. November, 2015. The conference is organized within the 25-th anniversary of the Faculty of Management Sciences and Informatics, who is organizing department.
The conference serves as a place to: - exchange of the knowledge and experience on the latest trends in the field of software development and object technologies (theory and practice), - the creation of integrated material for a consistent explanation, understanding and developing theoretical and practical questions raised from the issue, - to provide the platform for university teachers, PhD. students, researchers, scientific and professional community for exchange of the knowledge, experiences and results of their scientific work. This year event is special because we are trying to make the proceedings to be indexed by IEEE Xplore, Scopus and Web of Science. The conference language will be English. -- Topics --- The main aim of the conference is to exchange knowledge about a new trends in information systems and technologies, software architectures, software design patterns and programming paradigms. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Software development life cycle, requirements analysis. Software project management, software development methodologies. Analysis and design of software systems and processes, software modelling and simulation. Business modelling, data and process modelling. Formal specifications, ontologies and meta-modelling. Modelling languages, UML, ArchiMate, and BPMN. Testing, software quality and reliability. Program paradigms, software techniques and technologies. Model Driven Development (MDD) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Development tools and program languages, domain specific languages. Software design and implementation tools. CAD, CAM, GIS, and knowledge engineering. Distributed objects and Internet. Mobile technologies, web services and databases. Design and implementation of information systems, enterprise processes and support. Legal aspects of IT society and security of ICT. Applied informatics in enterprise, manufacturing, and government. Education of programming and software engineering. ICT in education, science and research. -- Conditions of publishing -- We shall accept only the papers that will be authentic, original, containing new scholar ideas and thematically within the conference topics. All submissions must be written in English using the conference template (downloadable from the conference website) on the maximum of 12 pages. Each paper is submitted electronically in the conference submission system to be evaluated for acceptance by at least two peer reviewers. Furthermore, paid registration to the conference is mandatory for paper acceptance (at least one registration per paper).
