*************************** ADBIS 2025 29th European Conference on Advances in Databases and Information Systems September 23-26, 2025, Tampere, Finland https://adbis2025.github.io **************************** *** OVERVIEW *** The ADBIS series of conferences provides a forum for the dissemination of research accomplishments and promotes interaction and collaboration among the database, information systems, data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning communities from European countries and the rest of the world. ADBIS conferences have provided an international platform for researchers and developers to present and discuss cutting-edge results on database theory, data management and information technologies, data engineering, analytics and visualization, and their advanced applications. ADBIS 2025 will consist of regular sessions with technical contributions reviewed and selected by an international program committee, as well as invited keynote and tutorial talks presented by leading scientists, demonstrations, workshops, and the Doctoral Consortium. *** IMPORTANT DATES *** All deadlines are 11:59 PM AoE * Submission of workshop proposals: January 21, 2025 * Notification of workshop acceptance: February 4, 2025 *** CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS *** https://adbis2025.github.io/Calls/workshops.html ADBIS 2025 invites workshop proposals in any area related to databases or information systems. Workshops focusing on challenging or emerging areas of the conference topics as well as on practical applications of research in business/industry and joint projects run by industry and research entities, are strongly encouraged. Workshop proposals should be emailed to the workshop chair: elisa.quintarelli@univr.it, e.zumpano@dimes.unical.it The proposal should include: - a title of the workshop - names, affiliations, and e-mails of the organizers, with the indication of the primary contact amongst the organizers - short bio of the workshop organizers, including previous experience in organizing workshops or conferences (if applicable) - (tentative) list of PC members (if already available) - outline of the workshop’s objectives and targets - information about past editions (if any), e.g., the associated conference, previous attendance, the outcomes, any post-workshop publication venue - list of the workshop main topics - the planned workshop format, e.g., the expected number of submissions, the expected number of invited speakers - how information about the workshop will be disseminated and how papers will be solicited. The organizers of accepted workshops are expected to: - organize the workshops program committee - disseminate the workshop call for papers - solicit submissions - conduct the reviewing process - prepare the final workshop program The official language of workshops is English. The length of the workshops is 1 or 1/2 day. It is expected that at least one workshop organizer will register and attend the workshop in presence. Workshop papers will be published in Springer's Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series. *** DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION *** We kindly ask workshop organizers to add the following Diversity and Inclusion Statement to the call for papers: "We kindly ask authors to adopt inclusive language in their papers and presentations (https://dbdni.github.io/pages/inclusivewriting.html and https://dbdni.github.io/pages/inclusivetalks.html), and all participants to adopt a proper code of conduct (https://dbdni.github.io/pages/codeofconduct.html)."
