CALL FOR PAPERS: 2nd KES International Symposium on Intelligent Decision Technologies IDT'10
In conjunction with 3rd Intelligent Interactive Multimedia Systems and Services (IIMSS'10) Venue: Inner Harbor, Baltimore, Maryland, USA 28-30 July 2010 ============================================================= Welcome: We are pleased to invite participation in IDT2010 hosted by Loyola University Maryland and Baltimore City, Maryland, in conjunction with KES International. The conference will take place in Baltimore, Maryland, home of the world-renowned National Aquarium and close to Washington D.C. The conference is interdisciplinary in nature and will consist of keynote talks, oral and poster presentations, invited sessions and workshops, on the applications and theory of intelligent decision systems and related areas. It will provide excellent opportunities for the presentation of interesting new research results and discussion about them, leading to knowledge transfer and generation of new ideas. ============================================================= General Topics of Interest: Theoretical and applied papers are of interest. Authors should relate their topic to improving some aspect of decision making. Topics related to intelligent decision making include, but are not limited to, intelligent agents, fuzzy logic, multi-agent systems, artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, expert systems, intelligent decision making support systems, information retrieval systems, geographic information systems, knowledge management systems. IDT Applications: IDTs have the potential to support decision making in many areas including management, international business, finance, accounting, marketing, healthcare, medical and diagnostic systems, military decisions, production and operation, networks, traffic management, crisis response, human-machine interfaces, financial and stock market monitoring and prediction, robotics. Emergent Intelligent Decision Technologies: Virtual decision environments, social networking, 3D human-machine interfaces, cognitive interfaces, collaborative systems, intelligent web mining, e-commerce, e-learning, e-business, bioinformatics, evolvable systems, virtual humans, designer drugs. Call for Track/Subject Chairs and Programme Committee: An international programme committee is currently being formed. If you would like to be involved in the organisation of the conference, please contact us. The focus is interdisciplinary in nature, and includes research on all aspects of intelligent decision technologies, from fundamental development to applied systems. Call for papers: Papers are invited from prospective authors with interests in the conference topics and related areas of application. All contributions should be of high quality, original and not published elsewhere or submitted for publication during the review period. Papers must be submitted following the instructions available on the web site. All papers will be blind reviewed by an International Committee and, if of a high enough standard, accepted for presentation orally or by poster. The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in LNCS/LNAI. Outstanding papers will be invited for publication as full papers in a special issue of the Intelligent Decision Technologies Journal (IDT). Call for invited sessions and workshops: We invite senior scientists and researchers to organise invited sessions or parallel workshops on specific topics with the field. Please, contact the conference secretariat. We also welcome suggestions for other activities that will appeal to our delegates. Call for Industrial Panel and Round Table: The aim of this round table discussion is to provide a forum to stakeholders to discuss matters of interest relating to conference topics. Contact us if you would be interested in being involved. Call for exhibitors: An exhibition for trade suppliers of equipment relevant to the topics of the conference will run in parallel with the presentation sessions. Manufacturers and retailers are invited to contact the conference organisers for details of opportunities to exhibit to the international audience that will attend the conference. ============================================================= Organisation : IDT'10 is organised by KES International research organisation and hosted by Loyola University Maryland.
