The Third International Symposium on Computing and Networking — Across Practical Development and Theoretical Research — Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, December 8-11, 2015 Technically Cosponsored by IEICE Technical Committee on Computer Systems IPSJ Special Interest Group on System Architecture [Venue] The symposium will be held at Sapporo Business Innovation Center, which is 8-minute walk from Higashi Sapporo subway station. [Introduction] Following the success of past ICNC conferences, 2010 in Hiroshima, 2011 in Osaka, and 2012 in Okinawa, and CANDAR symposiums 2013 in Matsuyama, 2014 in Shizuoka, CANDAR 2015 will be held in Sapporo, Japan. CANDAR 2015 will serve as a forum for exchanging the latest findings and experiences ranging from theoretical research to practical system development in all aspects of computing and networking including parallel and distributed systems, algorithms, architectures, and applications. In addition to technical sessions consisting of contributed papers, the symposium will include invited presentations, a poster session, tutorials, and workshops. We believe that participants will get new ideas and insight of computing and networking. CANDAR'15 will be held in Sapporo City, Japan, from December 8-11, 2015. [Publication] The symposium and workshop proceedings will be published by Conference Publishing Service and submitted to IEEE Xplore and CSDL digital libraries. Also they are submitted for indexing through INSPEC, EI (Compendex), Thomson ISI, and other indexing services. Please note that CPS enforces a “no show” policy and only papers that are presented by an author at the symposium site will be sent for inclusion in the digital libraries. [Important Dates] CANDAR'15 abstract submission due: July 15, 2015 CANDAR'15 paper submission due: July 20, 2015 CANDAR'15 author notification: September 15, 2015 Final paper submission due: October 9, 2015 [Scope and Interests] The symposium invites papers on all aspects of parallel and distributed computing and networking, and their applications.
