Call For Papers

Welcome to the 5th Conference on Management and Sustainability in Asia (COMSA 2018). This international, peer-reviewed weekend event will be held in partnership with the 5th Conference on Sustainable Tourism in Asia (COSTA 2018).

COMSA 2018 will precede the 73rd Hiroshima Peace Memorial and Remembrance Ceremony. All participants of COMSA 2018 will be invited to a special guided tour in English of Hiroshima Peace Park on Saturday, August 4, 2018. Following the Peace Park tour, there will be an optional excursion to visit the shrine island of Miyajima – both Peace Park and Miyajima are UNESCO World Heritage sites.

About COMSA 2018

There has never been a more challenging time in management and sustainability as we enter into a period of great uncertainty and change. The conference theme, Growing Global will bring together academics, researchers, practitioners, business professionals and students engaged in management education and the academic world to exchange the latest ideas, and share new research.

Today’s rapidly globalizing world has spawned dynamic changes from rising affluence and urban migration to heavy demands put on our finite resources and the environment. The breakneck pace of development and consumption of modern society is an unsustainable course that threatens our ecosystem and future.

COMSA 2018 is an international conference held in Japan’s city of peace and just prior to the 73rd Hiroshima Peace Memorial and Remembrance Ceremony. We hope that this setting in Hiroshima will provide a peaceful atmosphere to engage, learn and share ideas ranging from corporate social responsibility and the triple bottom line to sustainable business practices, economic development and sustainable livelihoods in developing nations.

The final deadline for submissions of 250 words in English is Friday, May 11, 2018 on these areas:

◾Accounting & Finance
◾Business Ethics & CSR
◾Economic Development
◾Environmental Management
◾IT Management
◾Sustainable Business
◾Sustainable Development
◾Sustainable Energy

◾Tourism Management
