The ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology (VRST) 2015 will be hosted by Beihang University (BUAA) and held in Beijing, China, during November 13-15, 2015. VRST is an international forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge among researchers and developers concerned with virtual reality software and technology. VRST will provide an opportunity for VR researchers to show new techniques, results, and demonstrations of their work, and discuss emerging directions for the field.
Paper submission We invite submissions of: Full Papers (up to 10 pages) Short Papers (up to 4 pages) Poster Papers (1 page) Original unpublished papers are invited in all areas of virtual reality software and technology. The topics include (but are not limited to) VR Systems and Toolkits, Computer Graphics Techniques for VR, Advanced Display Technology, Immersive Projection Technology, Performance Testing & Evaluation, Interaction Techniques, Modeling and Simulation, Real-Time Rendering, Real-Time Physics-based Modeling, Tracking and Sensing, Avatars and Virtual Humans in VR, Natural Interface, 3D Interaction for VR, Presence and Cognition. Any interesting new ideas related to virtual reality and applications are welcome. All accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings and will be included in ACM digital library (EI-indexed). Authors of the best papers will be invited to submit the extended version of their papers for possible publication in IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics (TVCG). Authors of some selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their manuscripts for possible publication in the Journal of Computer Animation and Virtual Worlds(CAVW) by John Wiley. Authors of some selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their manuscripts for possible publication in the Journal Science China Information Sciences.
