Welcome to the 1st Workshop on Intelligent Computing: Oriented to Performance Analysis and Optimization in conjunction with the 14th IEEE/ACIS International Conference on Computer and Information Science 2015 (ICIS2015) in Las Vegas (http://belmont.itolab.nitech.ac.jp/icis2015/). The conference brings together scientists, engineers, computer users, and students to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects (theory, applications and tools) of computer and information science, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. Scope

Modern processor architectures have become so complex that the application programmer must have knowledge of both the architecture and the compiler in order to produce efficient code. Tuning applications to improve performance is an important but tedious and time-consuming task. It may have to be repeated for each new application and platform. As a result code, performance is becoming more and more complex to guarantee and difficult to assess without extensive tuning and experiments. All efforts are concentrated on the performance analysis system, which is the ability to encode general expertise and case-specific methods that allow development tools and techniques to direct analysis strategies to problem solving needs. Introducing artificial intelligent can be interesting and can help expert and non-expert users to resolve the performance problems. The goal of this Workshop is to bring together researchers and developers of performance analysis and optimization to present and discuss the latest techniques and ideas.

Submission

Submission should include a cover page with author's name(s), affiliation(s), address(es), and email(s). Please indicate clearly the corresponding author and include up to 6 keywords from the above list of topics and an abstract of no more than 400 words. The full manuscript should be at most 6 pages using the two-column IEEE format (See IEEE CS style format). All papers must be submitted in PDF format. The program committee will review each submission and judge it with respect to its originality, significance, readability/organization, references and technical quality. Submissions to this workshop should be emailed to icopao2015@gmail.com by May 17, 2015. Accepted papers will be published by IEEE Computer Society, and IEEE CPS arranges to be indexed in INSPEC, EI (Compendex), Thomson ISI, DBLP, and some other major citation indexes.
