= C I A R P 2 0 1 5 = = FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS = =================== XX Congreso Iberoamericano de Reconocimiento de Patrones XX Ibero-American Conference on Pattern Recognition Nov. 9th-12th, 2015 Montevideo, Uruguay --------------------------- WELCOME --------------------------- The 20th Iberoamerican Congress on Pattern Recognition (CIARP 2015) will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay. CIARP 2015 is organized by the Uruguayan IAPR Chapter, including members from Universidad de la República and Universidad Católica. Held every year, CIARP is the most important Iberoamerican conference in pattern recognition, computer vision and multimedia. As in all previous editions, CIARP 2015 will be a fruitful forum for exchanging scientific results and experiences, sharing new knowledge, and promoting cooperation between researchers --------------------------- VENUE --------------------------- CIARP 2015 will be held in the Edificio Polifuncional del Faro, Facultad de Ingeniería, Universidad de la República in Montevideo, the capital city of Uruguay. Facultad de Ingeniería is located in Punta Carretas, one of Montevideo's more elegant neighborhoods, one block away from the Ramirez Beach and the Montevidean boardwalk, which spans over 20km. Various excellent restaurants and hotels are located within walking distance, making it a perfect spot for tourism and recreation within the city. Uruguay is a small, beautiful and peaceful country in the subtropical region of South America. The papers should be submitted electronically before May 15th, 2015, through the EasyChair site https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ciarp2015 Submissions should be prepared following the instructions from Springer LNCS series.
