SIMULATION-BASED EVALUATION OF INTERACTIVE SYSTEMS
in conjunction with the 13th International Simulation Conference (ISC'2015), June 01-03, Valencia, Spain http://www.eurosis.org/cms/index.php?q=node/3087 * CALL FOR PAPERS * IT systems are becoming increasingly more complex, both in terms of their scale and in terms of their individual functionalities. At the same time, the systems should be intuitively usable and should possess a flat learning curve for the user. The integration of the users into the analysis and the entire evaluation process is thus essential and new methods to increase the efficiency of evaluation are strictly required. One particularly useful method for the efficient evaluation and analysis is simulation. Within the scope of the workshop, new innovative methods and approaches for the practically oriented simulation-based evaluation of interaction-centric IT systems should be presented. An example could be a new approach to the simulation of reality in Living Labs or the usage of agent-based modelling for the simulation of distributed, heterogeneous and possibly autonomous systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: [ ] Living Labs as simulation environments for evaluation [ ] Infrastructure simulation in Living Labs [ ] Agent-based modelling for simulation-based evaluation of interactive systems [ ] Evaluation of user interactions with graphical user interfaces [ ] Methods of practically oriented simulation-based evaluation *IMPORTANT DATES* Early Bird Submission: February 1, 2015 Submission Date : March 1, 2015 Late Submission Date: March 20, 2015 Notification of Acceptance: April 5, 2015 Final Camera Ready Papers due: May 5, 2015 *PAPER SUBMISSION* Papers will be reviewed on the basis of three to five page extended abstracts of sufficient detail to permit reasonable evaluation and/or on full 5-8 page papers.
