Call for Papers
This is our official Call for Papers: ECIS 2015, MUENSTER, GERMANY http://www.ecis2015.eu/ IMPORTANT DATES Submissions open: October 6, 2014 Submission deadline: November 28, 2014 (strict and only deadline!) Notification of acceptance: End of February, 2015 THE NETWORKED SOCIETY Modern society is a networked society permeated by information technology (IT), defining ECIS 2015’s Conference Theme. Networks, perceived as a group of organisations and people connected on several aspects who exchange information, contacts, and experience for professional or social purposes, leave their mark on almost every area of our society and promise diverse advantages to those involved. From a technical perspective, enormous amounts of information can be communicated to a larger number of recipients faster than ever before. The evolution of networks is heavily influenced by the extensive use of Information Systems, which has enabled co-evolving advanced quantitative and qualitative forms of networking. ECIS 2015 should be a meeting place for European and also non-European researchers in the field of Information Systems from various cultures and countries and should reflect the specific and innovative research in information systems dealing with the overarching networked society. We are happy to welcoming you to Muenster, one of the cradles of IS research and education in Germany!
