Call For Papers

AEWiNS 2010 will focus on algorithms, protocols, architectures, and applications with coverage of all layers that
will have a significant impact for the successful deployment of emerging wireless networks and systems. The workshop will
provide an opportunity for academic and industry professionals to discuss the latest issues related to advances in emerging
wireless networks and systems. The workshop is intended to encourage cooperation among academicians and researchers and push
the theoretical and practical research forward for a deeper understanding on the emerging wireless networks and systems.

Topics (include but are not limited to the following)

• Broadband wireless access networks - IEEE 802.11/802.16/802.20/802.22
• Wireless Mesh Networks
• Emerging ad hoc and sensor networks – Bluetooth/ Zigbee/UWB

• Mobile Peer-to-Peer networking, systems and applications
• Multimedia over emerging wireless networks
• Data management on emerging mobile and wireless systems
• Energy saving protocols for ad hoc and sensor networks
• Cryptography, security and privacy issues in emerging wireless networks
• Performance analysis, modeling, simulation of wireless and mobile networks
• Standardization, specifications and enhancements in the emerging standards
• Recent trends in mobile and wireless applications

Paper Submission
Authors should submit full paper with 6 pages and short paper with 4 pages by using Online systems for review. Please use IEEE paper format.

Publication
The workshop proceedings will be published as part of the FutureTech 2010 conference proceedings published in IEEE (pending). The selected outstanding papers will be published in SCI/E Journals (to be confirmed).
