The conference venue is located in a suburb of the historic city of Kandy, the capital of the last kingdom of Sri Lanka. It is a city with a rich cultural heritage and is the home to the Temple of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. The ancient temples of Ambekka, famous for its glorious wood carvings, Gadaladeniya and Lankathilake rock temples are only a short drive away. Furthermore, the venue itself and the surrounding areas are famous for its natural beauty. The famous Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens is in the vicinity of the venue.
