Call For Papers

In this year, similarly as in previous years, two chapters of the IEEE (the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Poland Section, namely SP (Signal Processing) Chapter and CAS (Circuits and Systems) Chapter organize IEEE SPA 2015 Conference at the Poznan University of Technology on September 23–25, 2015.

The SPA 2015 topics cover all areas of audio, image, video, and other signal processing research:

⇒ DSP theory, algorithms and implementations
⇒ Image and video processing
⇒ Audio processing
⇒ Digital Television and stereovision
⇒ Multimedia data compression and editing, data bases
⇒ Electroacoustics
⇒ Psychoacoustics
⇒ Sound mastering
⇒ Human-computer interfaces
⇒ Image synthesis, analysis and recognition
⇒ Filter design and implementation
⇒ Vision and audio-based diagnosis in medicine and industry
⇒ Text-to-speech & speech-to-text algorithms
⇒ Artificial intelligence applications in DSP
⇒ Distributed and networked DSP systems
⇒ Virtual and augmented reality
⇒ Biometrics
⇒ Biomedical Applications and Assistive Technologies
⇒ Mobile Platform Applications

The accepted papers will not only be published in the conference proceedings (in both printed and electronic forms) but they will also be uploaded to the IEEE Xplore database and digital library (http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/conhome.jsp?punumber=1800373).

Some of the previous SPA Conferences (namely those held in years 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013) are present in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index of the Thomson Reuters Web of Science. Thus we can expect the same with the present SPA conference.

The highest quality papers will be selected by the Scientific Committee and after idening, completion, and updating they will be recommended for publication in such journals as: Electrical Review, Computational Methods in Science and Technology, and Foundations of Computing and Decision Sciences. Best presentations prepared by young scientists (up to 35 years old) will be awarded during the closing ceremony of the conference.

I am encouraging all, who are or may be interested in this event, to participate and submit papers for oral and/or poster presentations.

For more information please visit the web site:
http://www.spaconference.org.pl/ .

The deadline of submission of full papers of maximum 6 (A4/letter-size) two-column IEEE style pages is May 31, 2015.

Best regards,

Professor Adam Dabrowski
Chairman of the Polish IEEE CAS and SP Chapters
Poznan University of Technology
Faculty of Computing
Chair of Control and System Engineering
Division of Signal Processing and Electronic Systems
