Wireless and mobile sensing technology is considered as a system that connect our world more than we ever thought possible. The common vision of such system constitutes the concept of the future internet or the internet of things. In such system, a huge heterogeneous wireless, mobile and sensor devises are closely coupled with information and communication technologies to achieve an intelligent monitoring, management and so on. Wireless, mobile and sensor networks are regarded as a flexible and robust information gathering method and greatly improve the reliability and efficiency of systems. Moreover, with the rapid technological development, these networks become the key technology for future internet.
The main objective of this workshop is to present and discuss the use and evolution of wireless and mobile sensing technology within the wider context of future internet. The workshop is an opportunity for researchers and industrials to share their ideas, experiences, and expectations on wireless and mobile sensing technology in the future internet. The workshop seeks original contributions that address the following topics, but not limited to: Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: • WMSTFI architectures, protocols, and algorithms • Integration and coexistence strategies of heterogeneous wireless networks • Data management in WMSTFI • Integration of WSN and internet of things • WMSTFI performance, simulation, modeling and case studies • Security and safety issues • Prototypes for new applications for WMSTFI • Mobility Management in WMSTFI • Power-Aware, Low-Power and Energy-Efficient Designs • QoS Management and Quality-of-Service Issues • MAC layer design for wireless sensor networks and WMSTFI • Platforms and developments tools for WMSTFI • Integration of RFID and wireless sensor networks • Integration of IP6-based wireless sensor networks with Android Publication ========== All WMSTFI’16 accepted papers will be printed in the conference proceedings and published by Elsevier Science in the open-access Procedia Computer Science series on-line. Procedia Computer Sciences is hosted on www.Elsevier.com and on Elsevier content platform ScienceDirect (www.sciencedirect.com), and will be freely available worldwide. All papers in Procedia will be indexed by Scopus (www.scopus.com) and by Thomson Reuters' Conference Proceeding Citation Index (http://thomsonreuters.com/conference-proceedings-citation-index/). The papers will contain linked references, XML versions and citable DOI numbers. You will be able to provide a hyperlink to all delegates and direct your conference website visitors to your proceedings. All accepted papers will also be indexed in DBLP ((http://dblp.uni-trier.de/)). Submission ========== Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically in PDF format.
