WABI focuses on algorithmic work in bioinformatics and systems biology, especially on discrete algorithms and machine-learning methods that address important problems in molecular biology. We want problems founded on sound models, and solutions that are computationally efficient and that have been implemented and tested in simulations and on real datasets.

WABI will be part of ALGO 2010, hosted by the University of Liverpool Department of Computer Science.
