EUROPHRAS 2015: Computerised and Corpus-based Approaches to Phraseology:
Monolingual and Multilingual Perspectives MUMTTT 2015: Second Workshop on Multiword Units in Machine Translation and Translation Technology Malaga, 29 June - 1 July 2015 http://www.europhras2015.eu/ The European Society of Phraseology (EUROPHRAS) is organising its 2015 conference in Malaga, Spain, from 29 June to 1 July 2015. The city of Malaga, with its rich history spanning more than two thousand years since its foundation by the Phoenicians, boasts an important cultural infrastructure and rich artistic heritage. It has always been a multicultural and cosmopolitan city with one of the biggest Mediterranean seaports and a busy international airport. Combining its rich traditions, the comforts of a modern city, and its warm and sunny climate, Malaga makes an ideal location for the 2015 EUROPHRAS conference. In keeping with this year's title, "Computerised and Corpus-based Approaches to Phraseology: Monolingual and Multilingual Perspectives", it will be focused on various technology-related topics within phraseology. More specifically, the conference intends to create a platform for the presentation and discussion of the most recent and advanced computational and corpus-based methods applied in phraseology, and consequently to promote further development and innovations in the field, including not only monolingual, but also multilingual phraseology and translation. The conference will invite papers addressing (but not limited to) corpus-based phraseology and the computational processing of phraseological units, such as their identification, classification, extraction, analysis, translation and representation. Papers will be accepted in English, Spanish, German or French. In conjunction with EUROPHRAS 2015, the second Workshop on "Multi-word Units in Machine Translation and Translation Technology" (WSMUTTT) will take place as an associated event. "The first edition of the workshop was successfully held at the Machine Translation Summit 2013." |
