Call For Papers

The 3rd Annual TARC workshop will be held at the University of Exeter on April 20 and 21, 2015.

Two keynote speakers have kindly agreed to present at the event:
Leonard Burman is Professor Public Administration and International Affairs at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. He is also Paul Volker Chair in Behavioral Economics, Director, Urban Brookings Tax Policy Center and a Senior Research Associate at the Center for Policy Research. Leonard specialises in federal tax policy, budget policy, tax expenditures and the changing role of taxation in social policy.
Jeffrey Owens was formerly Director of the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration at the OECD and led the OECD’s work on taxation for over 20 years. He was instrumental in setting up the Forum on Tax Administration. Jeffrey is currently Director of the Global Tax Policy Centre at the Vienna Institute of Austrian and International Law, Vienna University of Business and Economics, and holds several other academic and advisory appointments.

Submissions in all areas of tax administration are invited which can be based on an accounting, economics, or law perspective. Empirical, experimental, and theoretical papers are equally welcome. The organisers will cover the travel costs of all presenters and will provide accommodation.

Those wishing to submit a paper should email an abstract of no more than 500 words, along with their contact details and institutional affiliation, by the end of Monday 26th January 2015 to tarc@exeter.ac.uk

The program will be announced by early February. Full papers will be required by Monday 23rd March 2015.
