International Conference on Localization and GNSS 2015
June 22-24, 2015 in Gothenburg, Sweden Reliable navigation and positioning are becoming imperative in more and more applications for safety-critical purposes, public services, and consumer products. A robust and continuously available localization solution is needed regardless of the specific environment or specific platform. ICL-GNSS addresses the latest research on wireless and satellite-based positioning techniques to provide reliable, accurate, and low latency position information. It aims at inspiring the development of new design, implementation, test and evaluation methodologies for positioning platforms. The conference will comprise technical session, poster sessions, invited keynotes, and a best paper award. The conference strongly emphasizes a quick turn-around time and high quality of the published papers. We solicit original contributions in, but not limited to, the following topics: • Antennas and RF front-ends for GNSS receivers • Signal processing and algorithms for positioning and navigation • Interference and spoofing countermeasures • GNSS ionospheric threats, ionospheric sounding and space weather • Timing for GNSS and terrestrial systems • Design, prototyping and testing of positioning devices • Cooperative and peer-to-peer positioning • Location methods for indoor and densely populated urban areas • Positioning based on signals-of-opportunity and swarm-localization • Multi-GNSS receivers and emerging navigation satellite systems • Wireless and sensor based localization complementary or compensatory to GNSS • Hybrid NAV/COM positioning: implementations and field tests • GNSS applications for remote sensing • Cognitive positioning architectures • Location-based mobility models • Location-based services and applications, and supporting technologies • Location information for resource planning of radio and networks • Positioning for autonomous systems (robots, planes, vehicles) • Security and privacy aspects of positioning We invite you to submit your original full papers on the most recent results and technology trends in the fields of positioning. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. We also invite proposals for special sessions from positioning-related projects. Deadlines: Deadline for full paper submission: Feb 28, 2015 Deadline for special session proposals: Jan 15, 2015 Notification of acceptance: April 15, 2015 Camera-ready papers due: May 10, 2015 Paper Submission: Submitted papers must represent original material that is not currently under review in any other conference or journal, and has not been previously published. Papers should be four to six pages long in the specified format. Papers can be submitted electronically through ConfTool: http://www.conftool.pro/icl-gnss2015. Papers should be submitted as PDF files prepared according to IEEE two-column A4 format guidelines.
