The 2014 Conference theme is "Engineered Resilient Systems: Challenges and Opportunities in the 21st Century."
WHAT: Conference on Systems Engineering Research (CSER) 2014 WHEN: March 20-22, 2014 Redondo Beach, CA Abstracts are invited in broad areas including: Autonomous Resiliency Research and Applications; Model Based Systems Engineering; Value-based, Lean, & Agile Systems Engineering; Cybersecurity and System Security Engineering; Social Networks and Graph Theory; Early Stage Design Concepts and Economic Value of “ilities”(Specialty Engineering); Uncertainty and Complexity Management in Complex Systems; Systems Architecting and Tradespace Analysis; Cognitive Engineering and Human-Systems Integration; Big Data and Analytics; Cyber-Physical-Social Systems; and Systems/Critical Thinking. Abstracts must include: 1. A Title 2. Full Author Names and Affiliations 3. Complete Address for the Corresponding Author Doctoral candidates pursuing systems-engineering-related research are especially encouraged to submit abstracts. One technical track at the CSER’14 will be devoted to doctoral candidate papers. Please submit your abstract electronically in Microsoft Word (not to exceed 800 words) to CSER2014cfp@incose-la.org. If you have additional questions that are not addressed by the website, send email CSER2014cfp@incose-la.org with your question. Papers are peer-reviewed by two referees and must be accepted to be published in the conference proceedings. Organized by the University of Southern California (USC) in collaboration with the Stevens Institute of Technology, managed by the Los Angeles Chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), and additionally co-sponsored by others.
