CIbSE 2016 – CALL FOR PAPERS
----------------------------------------------

XIX Iberoamerican Conference on Software Engineering - CIbSE 2016
http://cibse.espe.edu.ec/
27 - 29 April, 2016
Quito, Ecuador

SCOPE AND MOTIVATION
----------------------------------------
CIbSE event is a reference in the field of Software Engineering, with the participation of a vibrant Latin American community that is dedicated to research in an area vital to the global economy. Conceived as a space dedicated to the dissemination of research results and activities of the iberoamerican community, encourages dialogue between scientists, educators, professionals, students and software industry.

Building over the experience with 18 successful previous editions, CIbSE 2016 is organized by the Armed Forces University "ESPE" to be held in Quito, Ecuador. The event will include research paper presentations, tutorials, doctoral symposium, workshops, and keynote speeches by renowned iberoamerican researchers.

Plan to contribute or check on your agenda CIbSE 2016. On April 27, 28 and 29 we will have a chance to discuss ideas, share experiences and challenges of practice.

The Conference, version 2016, was organized around different thematic lines, which is part of the effort made by the Latin American community of Software Engineering to consolidate and publicize the progress made by researchers and industry professionals. The invitation is to send contributions for the following tracks:

Software Engineering Technologies Track (SET) - This track encourages discussion on issues related to software production process and contemporary approaches to automation and quality improvement.

Experimental Software Engineering Track (ESELAW) - This track meets for researchers and practitioners to report, discuss and disseminate ideas and new results on Experimental Software Engineering; The workshop encourages the exchange of ideas, focusing on the process, design, structure and results of empirical studies in Software Engineering.

Requirements Engineering Track (WER) - This workshop brings together scientists and industry concerned in Requirements Engineering. In its 19th version has established itself as an event where not only involved the Latin American community but academics and professionals worldwide.

Industrial Line - Industrial Line provides a specific forum for high quality presentations focused on industrial practice and software engineering applications, foundations, methods, practices, processes and tools.

Doctoral Symposium - CIbSE 2016 will host a Doctoral Symposium for PhD students whose research area includes topics of Software Engineering

CIbSE accepts contributions in three major ibero-american languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese.

SUBMISSIONS AND PUBLICATION
---------------------------------------------
We invite contributions in the form of papers, and doctoral work related to CIbSE's conference themes. Submissions are accepted in Spanish, Portuguese or English.

Long papers should not exceed 14 pages in Springer-Verlag's LNCS format (http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html). Submissions should be sent via the EasyChair submission system considering a specific track. They will be peer reviewed according to their relevance, originality, technical quality, and adequacy to the conference topics.
