We are pleased to invite you to the first Visual Computing Research Conference endorsed by the Intel Visual Computing Research Institute. Researchers from academia and industry are meeting in Saarbrücken to discuss visionary opportunities for closing the gap between research and product innovation.

The Intel Visual Computing Institute is requesting your contribution on
- Innovative Applications using Visual Computing
- Research results adding new impulses and enriching the latest state of visual technology
- Visions showing which technical premises must be provided in the future

In conjunction with the Visual Computing Conference the Intel VCI will publish a Request for Proposal (RPD) and start to sponsor open collaborative research between academia and industry.
