Motivation: Data engineering and software engineering are two
developing areas in the information and communication technology,
which are interrelated and have significant roles in changing the
world in many aspects, such as business, education, government and
society. Although these disciplines are quite mature, research and
development in these disciplines are still evolving to provide better
performance of offered services or products in different criteria,
e.g., efficiency or effectiveness.

The 1st International Conference on Data and Software Engineering
(ICoDSE 2014), is interested in gathering researchers and
professionals in the domains of Data and Software Engineering, to
present and discuss high-quality research results and outcomes in
their fields. ICoDSE 2014 aims at facilitating cross-fertilization of
ideas in Data and Software Engineering areas, and hence encourages
high-quality research integrating those domains.

Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers of no more than
six (6) pages including results, according to template on the website.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed based on originality, technical
quality and presentation.

Submission will be handled via EDAS Conference and Journal Management

The proceedings will be sent to IEEE conference proceeding.

Selected papers, after further revision and extension will be
considered for publication in a special issue of the Transations on
Large Scale Data and Knowledge Centered Systems (TLDKS), ISSN:
1869-1994 from Springer Verlag and also International Journal on
Electrical Engineering and Informatics (IJEEI), printed ISSN:
2085-6830 / online e-ISSN: 2087-5886, indexed by Scopus, Index
Copernicus, Google Scholar, DOAJ, EBSCO, and ProQuest.
